Prostate Challenges: Beating the Odds
D.W., Texas, USA

My journey to learning about the Bob Beck units began when I started helping my friend who had been diagnosed with cancer. I became somewhat familiar with many alternative healing protocols while doing research on his behalf. This was how I learned of the Bob Beck Protocol. I was intrigued by the experiences of others I read about. I figured this technology had to be for real if even only one tenth of the experiences I read were true.

Little did I know that my friend and I would soon be battling a common illness.

I didn't see it coming. I was very shocked in September 2016 when, due to passing a kidney stone, I went to my urologist. He tested me but found no remaining kidney stones. After further testing and biopsy he diagnosed me with a very high grade prostate cancer. The biopsy report was grim: Gleason scores were 8-9 with all 12 scores positive for the cancer. A bone scan done at this time indicated it had not spread. Up to this point I was overweight, drank too much, was very sedentary, and just didn't take good care of myself. Right away I started exercising daily and began taking a couple of supplements. Surgery was performed in November 2016 and the pathology report was not good.

Prior to any further treatment, at the end of February 2017, a second bone scan showed two areas of bone metastases. I was in real trouble. I went to see my urologist to get his opinion of what was ahead of me. After insisting that I needed the truth, he finally said I probably had about three or four years to live. I was referred to an oncologist at a very well-known cancer center here in Texas. Prior to seeing the oncologist, I started my home treatment in earnest the first week of March 2017: pulsing on the wrist for two hours per day, one or one and a half hours of use per day of magnetic pulsing at and near the sites of the bone metastases, two ounces of colloidal silver daily and two to four glasses a day of ozonated water. Supplements included CBD oil, selenium, curcumin, boswellia extract, magnesium, resveratrol, high dose vitamin D3, and apiginen. Additionally, I joined a local gym and really jacked up my exercise program. My wife was concerned about my home treatment and thought I might be a little crazy.

I greatly strengthened my ties to God and asked Him for guidance.

The war had begun.

In March 2017 I was put on Lupron and began a series of chemotherapy treatments. This was not what I wanted to do, but I thought it might buy time for me to repair my body. My oncologist told me this was not curative, but might help manage the cancer and extend my life some. When I went for the first round, they gave me a prescription for nausea medication and told me to be sure and pick it up because I would need it. Well, I never filled the prescription. I was never sick through all six treatments of the chemo. When I began the chemo, I was told that my PSA would initially likely rise before the drugs kicked in. However by the second treatment, my PSA was totally undetectable. Typically, the white blood cell count (WBC) will drop to low levels when doing chemo. My WBC count was strong throughout the chemotherapy.

At a banquet in July 2017, I saw my urologist. He was shocked that I looked so well, and wanted to know if I was being treated. When I told him I had received chemo just three days earlier, he was floored. He wanted to know what I had been doing. I continue to let him wonder.

I kept up my at-home treatment all through the chemo treatments and after. In the first week of September 2017, I returned to the hospital for a CT and a bone scan. They wanted to "restage" my disease. The next day when we met with my oncologist, she was very excited and surprised to tell us that the cancer no longer appeared on the scans. What a truly happy day!! She wanted me to do a special type of PET scan to confirm that this was correct and provided the address I needed to go to. Imagine my surprise when she sent me to a state of the art research facility to have the tests done—this wasn't the local hospital lab! The PET scan found the larger of the two bone metastases, but the report showed it to be one half if its original size and no longer active. At this time, my oncologist recommended that I discuss follow-up radiation treatment with a radiation oncologist.

I met with the radiation oncologist and after a lengthy discussion, I agreed to submit to the treatments. This was finished in late December 2017. The radiation therapy was likely a mistake on my part. The side effects and damage to my immune system have required a lot of work to overcome, but God has helped me persevere.

In helping my friend, I ended up helping myself. I’ve gained a confidence and I have knowledge I didn’t have before. This is so powerful.

Along the way, my at-home protocol has changed a little: I now use only the wrist pulsing unit daily for two hours each day and I went from the CBD oil to Poly MVA due to the electrical synergies with pulsing on the wrist. I discontinued resveratrol, but all other supplements remain the same. In July 2018 I went on a low-fat whole food plant-based diet. The evidence to do this is very compelling. I have now met several cancer survivors who have embraced this diet with great success.

Blood work is done every 90 days and a PET scan is done every six months. I have had no sign of cancer for the last 15 months! I feel great and exercise daily. Since being diagnosed in September 2016, I have lost 78 pounds. I feel better, stronger and of course, grateful. After a terminal cancer diagnosis, who wouldn’t be constantly looking over their shoulder? I cannot ever be complacent again. At no time did I feel in my heart that my time was up, and I’m still sure it isn’t.

I intend to thrive, not survive.

Updates:
Four years later …
Four years after a diagnosis of stage 4 cancer of the prostate, I continue to test free of cancer with a PSA level of less than 0.1.

I still get blood work analysis every 60 days and I continue to use part of the Protocol weekly. I use the blood electrifier about 4-5 days a week for 2 hours each day, and I apply the pulsed magnetic fields about 3-4 days a week for 1 or 2 sessions. This is my maintenance schedule.

I also continue to eat a plant-based diet and exercise regularly every day as well as take supplements. My triglyceride count after starting this new lifestyle went from 150 to 56 and I’ve obviously lost weight; 88 lbs total in 4 years. When I started this change, my cholesterol level was at 199 and it’s now at 109.

Even though I’m at retirement age, I’ve continued working this whole time because I like what I do. I might consider retirement next year so I can travel and relax a bit more. Truly, it’s hard to even remember enjoying such a high quality of health as I do now.
